Privacy Policy

1.1 Who is responsible

This Privacy Policy explains how the app “Freeze Dance Fun” (the “App”) handles information. The App is published by profigame.net (the “Developer”, “we”, “us”). You can reach us at info@profigame.net.

1.2 No collection of personal data

We do not collect, store, sell or share personal data. The App does not require an account, does not show advertising, contains no analytics or tracking tools and does not connect to servers operated by us. We have no way of knowing who uses the App, when or how. For the Android version, please also see section 1.6.

1.3 Camera (optional)

The camera is used only when you choose a camera game (Freeze, Dance score or Solo) or turn on the camera in Learn mode, and only after you have granted permission.

  • Camera images are analyzed in real time, directly on your device, to detect the dancers, their position and their movements, to tell the players of the current game apart and to calculate points, stars and scores.
  • Photos and videos are never recorded, saved or uploaded by the App. Camera images are not transmitted to us or to anyone else.
  • The temporary information needed to tell players apart exists only in the working memory of your device and is deleted after each game or when you leave the camera screen.
  • The App does not identify people. It only tells apart the dancers taking part in the current game.
  • The App does not use the microphone.
  • You can withdraw camera access at any time in your device settings. All other features work without the camera.

Please use the camera games only with people who agree to take part. Parents and legal guardians decide whether children may use the camera features.

1.4 Apple TV and Continuity Camera

Apple TV has no built-in camera. On Apple TV, the camera image comes from an iPhone or iPad that you connect through Apple’s Continuity Camera feature. This connection and the transfer of the camera image between your devices are provided and controlled by Apple, and Apple’s privacy policy applies to them. On Apple TV, the App analyzes the image in the same way as described in section 1.3.

1.5 Data stored only on your device

The App stores the following information locally on your device: your settings (for example game mode, dance time, target score and camera option), best scores and stars from Solo mode, and the mixes you create in Mix Studio. The App never sends this information anywhere. It is deleted when you delete the App. On Apple devices, it may be included in your device backups (for example iCloud Backup), which are managed by Apple under its own terms.

1.6 Android version: Google ML Kit

The Android version uses Google ML Kit, provided through Google Play services, to detect faces on the device. Camera images are processed on the device and are not sent to Google or to us. According to Google’s ML Kit data disclosure, Google may collect limited technical information about the use of ML Kit, such as device and app information, performance metrics and error codes, for diagnostics and usage analytics. We do not receive this information and have no access to it.

1.7 App stores and platform providers

The App is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. When you download, update or pay for the App, Apple or Google process data under their own privacy policies. If you have agreed in your device settings to share analytics or crash data with app developers, Apple or Google may provide us with aggregated, anonymous statistics and crash reports. We use them only to fix errors and improve the App. They do not identify you.

1.8 Children

The App is designed for families and may be used by children under the supervision of an adult. Because the App does not collect personal data, it does not collect personal data from children either. Parents and legal guardians decide whether and how children use the App and its camera features.

1.9 Your rights

Because we do not process personal data about you, we usually hold no data that we could provide, correct or delete. You can delete all information stored by the App at any time by deleting the App. If you have questions about privacy, please contact us. If you live in the European Union or the European Economic Area, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

1.10 Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy, for example when new features are added. The current version is always available on this page. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.

Part 2

Health and Safety Notice

Freeze Dance Fun encourages dancing, jumping, turning and sudden stops. Like any physical activity, this involves a risk of falls, collisions, overexertion and other injuries. Please read these notes before playing and share them with everyone who plays.

2.1 Adult supervision

  • Children must always play under the supervision of a parent, legal guardian or another responsible adult, such as a teacher or group leader.
  • Longer dance sessions in particular should only take place under adult supervision. The supervising adult decides how long and how intensively children play and makes sure that they take breaks.
  • The App does not limit how long or how intensively you play. Setting sensible limits is the responsibility of the players and their supervisors.

2.2 Health

  • Only play if you are healthy and physically able to dance. If you have a medical condition or an injury, are pregnant, or are unsure whether physical activity is suitable for you or your child, ask a doctor before playing.
  • Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, chest discomfort, nausea or unusual exhaustion, and seek medical help if needed.
  • Warm up before dancing and slow down at the end.
  • The App is a game. It is not a fitness, medical or therapeutic product and does not provide health advice.

2.3 Breaks and drinking water

  • Take regular breaks, especially during longer sessions and in warm rooms.
  • Drink enough water before, during and after dancing, and make sure that children drink regularly.
  • Keep drinks away from the dance area and from electronic devices so that nobody slips on spilled liquids and no device is damaged.

2.4 A safe place to play

  • Clear enough space around every dancer. Remove obstacles, toys, cables, furniture with sharp edges, glass and other fragile objects.
  • Play on a dry, even, non-slip surface. Wear suitable shoes or play barefoot only where it is safe. Do not dance in socks on smooth floors.
  • Keep a safe distance from other dancers, walls, windows, doors, stairs, balconies, heaters, fireplaces and water. Never play near roads or in places with traffic.
  • Freeze in a stable position. Sudden stops, jumps and spins can make you lose your balance.
  • Keep pets and small children who are not playing away from the dance area.

2.5 Devices and screens

  • Place your phone, tablet, Mac or camera on a stable surface or stand where it cannot be knocked over. Never hold the device while dancing.
  • Make sure that TVs and monitors stand securely, and keep enough distance from them.
  • Route cables so that nobody can trip over them.

2.6 Light and sound

  • The App uses bright colors, moving graphics and flashing effects. A small number of people may experience seizures when exposed to certain light patterns or flashing lights. If you or a member of your family has a history of epilepsy or seizures, consult a doctor before playing. Stop immediately and seek medical advice if you notice dizziness, altered vision, eye or muscle twitching, loss of awareness, disorientation or convulsions.
  • Keep the volume at a comfortable and safe level, especially when using headphones and when children are playing.

2.7 Camera scores

Points, stars and scores in the camera games are calculated automatically from the camera image. They are estimates for entertainment only and may be inaccurate, for example because of lighting, distance or camera position. They are not an assessment of fitness, health, ability or talent.

Part 3

Terms of Use and Disclaimer

3.1 Acceptance

By downloading, installing or using the App, you accept these Terms of Use, including the Health and Safety Notice in Part 2. If you do not accept them, please do not use the App. If you let children or other people use the App, you are responsible for making sure that they, and the adults who supervise them, know and follow the Health and Safety Notice.

3.2 App store terms

If you obtained the App from the Apple App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies. If you obtained it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service apply. These Terms supplement those agreements. Payments and refunds are handled exclusively by Apple or Google under their terms.

3.3 Permitted use

The App and its content, including music, graphics, animations and texts, are protected by copyright and other rights. You may use the App for private and non-commercial purposes, for example at home, at parties, in schools and in groups. You may not copy, extract, sell or distribute the App or its content, or use it for commercial purposes, without our prior written permission. Mixes created in Mix Studio are based on the music of the App and may only be played within the App.

3.4 Your responsibility

You use the App on your own responsibility and at your own risk. In particular, you are responsible for:

  • choosing a safe place to play and setting up your devices safely;
  • making sure that everyone who plays is healthy enough to dance, takes breaks and drinks enough water;
  • supervising children and other people who need supervision. Parents and legal guardians decide whether, how long and where children use the App;
  • following the Health and Safety Notice in Part 2.

3.5 No warranty

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that the App will be free of errors or interruptions, that it will work on every device or be suitable for a particular purpose, or that camera recognition, points and scores will always be accurate. Statutory rights that cannot be excluded by contract remain unaffected.

3.6 Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer is not liable for injuries, accidents, health problems, damage to property or devices, loss of data or any other damage or loss arising from the use of the App, from the inability to use it, or from not following the Health and Safety Notice.

3.7 Third-party services

Features provided by Apple, such as Continuity Camera and iCloud Backup, and by Google, such as Google Play services and ML Kit, are not under our control. Their availability, functions and data processing are governed by the terms and privacy policies of the respective provider.

3.8 Changes

We may update, change or discontinue the App and update these Terms. The current version is always published on this page.

3.9 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

3.10 Trademarks

Apple, Apple TV, iPhone, iPad, Mac, iCloud, FaceTime and Siri are trademarks of Apple Inc. Google, Google Play and Android are trademarks of Google LLC. Freeze Dance Fun is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Apple Inc. or Google LLC.
